Dr. Rabia Mayer specializes in medical dermatology and general dermatology, including autoimmune diseases, skin conditions and surgical therapies. She treats both adult and pediatric patients from preventative care through to oncology, surgery, and medicinal treatments.
Dr. Mayer was drawn to the field of dermatology by its diversity in both patients and treatable conditions. She believes the doctor-patient relationship is a partnership built on trust and meeting the patient where they are. Dr. Mayer tailors her evidence-based care to each patient’s unique needs. She believes strongly in educating people about the benefits of sun protection and early prevention against development of skin cancer.
Born and raised in Islamabad, Pakistan, Dr. Mayer attended the University of Florida before completing medical school at the University of Central Florida. She graduated Alpha Omega Alpha and completed a pediatric residency before her dermatology training here in St. Louis at Washington University’s School of Medicine. She loves St. Louis for its four-season weather, family friendliness, and terrific food scene.
