Daniel Ring, MD

Dr. Daniel Ring is a general and surgical dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group.

His focus includes skin cancer screening, mole evaluation and removal, psoriasis, acne, warts and contact dermatitis. Dr. Ring has been a pioneer in the St. Louis Dermatology community as the first dermatologist in the area to treat psoriasis with the XTRAC® laser, incorporate expanded Patch Testing to evaluate Allergic Contact Dermatitis into daily practice, as well as one of most experienced with BOTOX® injections for excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis). He is also a cosmetic dermatology specialist experienced in injections of BOTOX® for facial wrinkles and excessive sweating.

Dr. Ring graduated in 1992 from the six-year combined BA/MD Degree Program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. After completing residencies in Internal Medicine in Kansas City and St. Louis, he subsequently trained in Dermatology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital at The Washington University School of Medicine and served as Chief Resident in Dermatology in 1998. He earned his Board Certification in Dermatology in 1998 and participates in ongoing continuing education and obtained re-certification in Dermatology in 2008 and 2018.

He continues to be actively involved in the local, state and national dermatology communities.
